Terrible toilet
This toilet is the absolute worse toilet I have ever had. I preferred my original toilet that came with the house from the 80s. First off, I had multiple leaks after the original install and the (liscenced and insured ) installer had to tweak it multiple times to stop leaking. This toilet stays dirty from the water fill level not high enough for your #2 to go down without sitting on the bottom of you toilet and sliding down when you flush. It is loud when flushed also. This toilet stays dirty from the water fill level not high enough for your #2 to go down without sitting on the bottom of you toilet and sliding down when you flush. It is loud when flushed also. I do not know how this toilet has so many good reviews again as I have stated this is the absolute worse toilet I have used and had. Maybe I got a lemon. I wish I could return this or get a credit to buy a new toilet. Ready to throw this in the trash and start over. Not to mention my customer service was absolutely terrible when I went to purchase this. Yet again Lowe’s has disappointed.
Buy if you enjoy using a plunger!
This toilet seemed like a great option on a pre-sale renovation: efficient, full size, decent quality, and cheap! Well, I'm glad we only bought one to try before replacing multiple. Minor complaint: the flimsy seat has a weird shape on the underside so that if you use a bidet, you can't install bumpers to correct the seat height. The major issue with this toilet is it is seemingly designed to dispose the waste of some animal smaller than the average human. If you're an adult male, expect to flush 5 or 6 times to attempt to avoid a clog, and even then, expect to be plunging it frequently. Worse still, the shape of the bowl means a good plunger doesn't really fit or seal, meaning it's never an easy thing to unclog.
Junk, but if you must buy….
If you must buy this toilet, you should be okay if you do the following: 1. Buy a very good plunger 2. Buy a good toilet auger 3. Each day on your way home plan to stop at the gas station to go poop. Take care of the above and this toilet will be the ticket. However, if you don’t, this toilet will be just about useless. We have increased the water level as high as it will go, reviewed each piece of the toilet- water inlets and exits, all are correct. This toilet was designed to save water, mission accomplished! Water is saved when you really can’t use it. Junk.
Great Toilet!
Everything was in the box. Quality materials and construction. Super easy to install. I really liked the nylon nut anchor wingnuts that prevents over tightening and breakage of the bowl base. Also very much liked the same nylon attachments for the seat. One small detractor: The plastic seat and lid are OK, but flimsy. I will replace the seat and lid with a better wood or harder plastic. All in all a great product!
