Eljer
Eljer traces its roots to the early 1900s as a U.S. maker of vitreous-china toilets and other bathroom fixtures. The company operated significant manufacturing in Ford City, Pennsylvania, and became a familiar name in residential and commercial plumbingware. In 2008, Eljer was combined with the North American bath and kitchen business of American Standard and Crane Plumbing to form American Standard Brands. In 2013, American Standard Brands was acquired by LIXIL Group, bringing Eljer under LIXIL’s ownership. Today, Eljer remains an active label within the American Standard/LIXIL portfolio, focusing on toilets and coordinated bath products for the North American market.
