Kohler Toilets
Kohler Toilets is a product line of Kohler Co., founded in 1873 by John Michael Kohler in Wisconsin. The company entered plumbing in 1883 when it applied enamel to a cast-iron basin to create a bathtub, and expanded into vitreous-china toilets in the early 20th century. Headquartered in Kohler, Wisconsin, the privately held firm has remained under Kohler family leadership and manufactures across North America, Europe, and Asia. Over time, its toilets evolved from basic two-piece models to one-piece, skirted, and wall-hung designs, high-efficiency WaterSense-labeled models, and smart offerings such as Numi. Today the line emphasizes reliable flushing platforms, water conservation, and coordinated design with the brand’s broader bathroom collections.
