Inax Toilets
Inax began in 1924 in Tokoname, Aichi, as Ina Seito Co., Ltd., a ceramic manufacturer producing tiles and sanitary ware. Over the postwar decades it expanded into bathroom fixtures, later adopting the Inax name and introducing advanced toilets with integrated bidet functions. In 2011, Inax became part of LIXIL Group, formed through the consolidation of several Japanese building-materials companies; since then the Inax brand has operated within LIXIL’s global portfolio. Today, Inax-branded products—ranging from toilets and bidet seats to basins and fittings—are developed in Japan and sold widely across Asia and beyond, with a focus on water-saving, easy-clean technologies and compact, integrated toilet designs.
