Laufen Toilets
Laufen Toilets traces its origins to 1892, when ceramic production began in Laufen, Switzerland. Over the 20th century the company expanded from regional ceramics into industrial sanitary ware, including toilets and full bathroom fixtures. A major milestone came in 1999, when it became part of Spain’s Roca Group, broadening its international reach and distribution. In the 2010s Laufen introduced SaphirKeramik, a material innovation enabling thin-walled, precise ceramic forms used across its bathroom collections. Today the brand remains based in Switzerland with production in European facilities, focusing on premium sanitary ceramics—particularly toilets—shaped by design collaboration, advanced manufacturing, and water-efficient product development.
