This is MARVELLOUS - but ...
This is great - I really do love it. However, I only gave 4 stars for the following minor bugs. While the sensor will auto-lift the lid, there's no way to automatically lift the seat without pressing the button on the remove control or beginning to lift it yourself. Sorry fellas - we have it so bad. There's no way that fan will dry your butt - even on max blow and heat. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough, but I feel any longer and evaporation will do its work alone. I still have to dab with tis...
This is great - I really do love it. However, I only gave 4 stars for the following minor bugs. While the sensor will auto-lift the lid, there's no way to automatically lift the seat without pressing the button on the remove control or beginning to lift it yourself. Sorry fellas - we have it so bad. There's no way that fan will dry your butt - even on max blow and heat. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough, but I feel any longer and evaporation will do its work alone. I still have to dab with tissue to avoid err ... leaving with a damp undercarriage. Having to use that bit of paper is not entirely a bad thing as ... (how can I put this sensitively?...) depending on your ... 'workload', the spray might not always tidy things up completely unless you use multiple times / patterns. This is a combination of biology and physics so don't blame the machinery. Although the description mentions back to the wall - clearly, it isn't the same as those loos that are literally flat at the rear. Speaking of back to the wall, it's a good idea to sit on the seat so as to leave no gap at the rear. This avoids any mis-direction of the jets. When playing with water settings, don't be surprised if you're a bloke trying out the feminine function and you end up spraying the cupboard in front of you. Stop it, there are only two genders! I find the seat motors a little screechy - at first I thought we'd trapped the cat somewhere. In the middle of the night, you'll wake thinking a banshee is hiding in your en-suite. Don't get me wrong - it's certainly not loud but quieter motors would have been good. The auto-open side sensor is annoying as it triggers as soon as you enter the bathroom whether you want to use the loo or not. A sensor at the front would have been better. I've turned the auto-open off because of this. Finally, there's an app that you can use to control the loo instead of the remote control - well, you could if they hadn't removed the bluetooth functionality for the EU versions. What a pity - I'd have loved to surprise the wife with a cold douche every now and then! To my surprise and relief, the tankless aspect seems to be fine. This does however mean I have an empty fitted unit behind which can't easily be used for storing anything else (officer). At the end of the day, this is a great alternative to a separate bidet. I've never tried one before but glad I got this. Yes, you will spend a little longer on the throne than you might have before, but for me, it definitely feels worth it. Listen to an audio book or something. Once you get used to it, you'll wonder how you survived so long without. NB - I purchased during Black Friday - crazy good price.
Amazing functions
I just had my masters bedroom remodeled after having it untouched for so long and my contractor suggested if I would like the idea of having a bidet toilet in my bathroom. He did recommend a couple brands but the VOVO looked the most elegant. I did hear korean and japanese bidets were top ends so instantly got this and had it installed. So far everything is working perfectly and I wish I had it sooner! The lights are nice. and the wireless remote is so easy to use. I show my guests my bathroom and they all compliment it which makes me so happy! Best purchase ever
Excellent toilet with great price!
Purchased this one when I saw it here! Already installed in in our bathroom and couldn't be any happier. It works great but just make sure you have enough water pressure in your house when purchasing this! There is no water tank inside and directly connects to the water pipe which means it uses the water pressure for flushing. I had issue when I didn't know this and I reached the customer support, and apparently we did not fully open the valve for enough water pressure. Now it flushes great and all the features work as advertised!
water heater constantly needs reset
We have had this toilet for about two years. The water heater stopped working coincidentally when the one year warranty was up. We were given instructions on how to reset it. Its now two years and we have to reset the water weekly. Its not an easy task to take the unit apart to do this. Vovo has offered to repair the unit for us free of charge which is great. Now we have to take the unit apart and find a box with packing materials to ship the heavy top part unit/seat. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless you are capable of addressing all these repair type issues. Unfortunately, my husband has become an expert at taking this apart just to push a button to reset the heat. Lets hope the repair takes care of this problem for good.
